Cassandra Kalancha

Executive Director

Cassandra "Cassie" Kalancha, a Midwest City native, serves as the first Executive Director of the Greater Oklahoma City Asian Chamber of Commerce. She leads strategic planning, financial management, event execution, and advocacy efforts to support Asian businesses while nurturing community relationships and engaging members.

Prior to her current position, Cassie spent five years in the Learning and Development field, notably as a Learning and Development Manager in healthcare. She holds a BA in Social Sciences and Organizational Studies with a Minor in German from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Education in Adult & Higher Education - Talent Development and a certificate in E-Learning from the University of Central Oklahoma. 

Cassie, a Certified Learning Environment Architect, previously served on the board of directors for the Greater OKC Asian Chamber and was the co-founder and co-president of the Filipino Student Association at OU. Additionally, she founded a chapter of Autism Speaks U, mentored Student Life Emerging Leaders, and led a small group for Camp Crimson. 

She has received several awards, including the University of Central Oklahoma's recognition as the Adult & Higher Education Student of Distinction, the NextGen Under 30 award in the Nonprofit Category, a place on 405 Business Magazine's top 10 list of Metro's Most Influential Leaders, and she is currently a member of Leadership OKC’s LOYAL XVIII class. 

Cassie, married to Yevgeniy Kalancha for 3 years, shares their home with an adorable cat named Mishka. Her interests include dancing, reading webtoons, exploring new restaurants, and playing video games.
